DAY 1 – Arrive in Cairo for your Egypt Luxury Travel Experience

When you land at the airport in Cairo for your bespoke Egypt travel adventure, your assigned tour manager will meet and assist you, and provide you with your entry visa for Egypt, and then he will escort you to the 5-Star hotel where you will b staying while you are in Cairo the vibrant capital of Egypt. On arrival at the hotel, he will help you with check-in and then discuss your travel itinerary with you and confirm collection times for your upcoming tours. After this, he will leave you to enjoy the remainder of your first day in Egypt as you wish.

DAY 2 – Giza Pyramids; Egyptian Museum, and Islamic Cairo

This morning your expert Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel at the agreed time, and then he or she will escort you in a clean and modern air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Pyramids where you will of course also see the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple which are located in the same ancient necropolis. Our 8-day luxury Egypt tours also include a ticket for the Solar Boat Museum at the site.

Following your tour of the necropolis, you will be taken to a good local restaurant for lunch, and then it will be time for you to visit the Egyptian Museum which houses the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including all the items that were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

When you are finished at the museum, you will then be taken to Islamic Cairo to visit the Khan el Khalili Bazaar. This colorful and incredibly lively bazaar has been going ever since the 14th century, and it is really one place which every visitor to Egypt should see at least once.

Whenever you are ready to leave the bazaar, you can tell your guide, and you will then be driven back to your hotel in air-conditioned comfort.

DAY 3 – Your Egypt Travel Adventure on the Nile River Begins

The 3rd day of your luxury tour is the day you will be boarding your Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, so once you have finished eating breakfast we will drive you to the airport where you will board a flight to Luxor. When your flight lands, one of our Luxor based tour representatives will meet you at the airport and then escort you to the area where you will be boarding the luxury Oberoi Philae 5-Star cruise ship for one of the most amazing journeys of your life.

Enjoy a good lunch after boarding, and then you will be taken to see to ancient attractions on Luxor’s East Bank. First you will visit the massive Karnak Temple complex, and then you will visit the impressively well-preserved Luxor Temple.

Following your tour, you will return to the ship where you will have some free time for yourself before dinner is served. This night of your Egypt holiday will be spent in the lap of luxury on the river at Luxor.

DAY 4 – Luxor West Bank Tour and Sail to Esna

This morning, shortly after breakfast, our tour guide will be taking you and a small group of our other clients for a tour on the West Bank. During this tour, you will be visiting three incredible monuments: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.

At Valley of the Kings, you will find more than 60 ancient tombs, nearly all of which belonged to royalty and other highly influential people. The most famous people who were entombed here were Ramesses VI and King Tutankhamen.

The mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, on the other hand, is an almost indescribable complex which was carved out of the surrounding bedrock. It is considered to be one of the Incomparable Monuments of Ancient Egypt. From the temple, you and your group will start making your way back to the Oberoi Philae cruise ship, with a short stop to see two large ancient statues known as the Colossi of Memnon.

Once everyone is back on board the vessel, it will then travel to Esna where it will remain tied up for the night. Enjoy a nice cocktail party on the ship shortly before dinner, and get a good night’s sleep on the river at Esna

DAY 5 – Sail to Edfu and on to Kom Ombo

The 5th day of your luxury Egypt holiday begins with an early morning cruise along the river to Edfu. Breakfast will be served along the way, and on arrival, our guide will take you and your small group to see the best preserved ancient temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus.

After your tour, the boat will then travel to Kom Ombo. Enjoy another good lunch on the river, and then once you have finished eating, our guide will take you to see the fascinating Kom Ombo Temple complex which was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and Haeroris the falcon-headed god.

There are no other tours scheduled for this day, so once you get back to the ship, you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Enjoy dinner at the usual time, and spend this night of you Egypt holiday on the river at Kom Ombo.

DAY 6 – Sail to Aswan and Aswan Sightseeing

The luxury Oberoi Philae will make another early departure today, and you will be able to enjoy your breakfast at leisure while you travel to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, our guide will once again be taking you for a sightseeing tour, this time to see the Aswan High Dam and the magnificent ancient Temple of Philae.

Following your tour, you and your group will return to the ship for lunch, and then when you are finished eating, you will leave the ship again, and you will board a small motorboat that will take you on a short trip to visit the Nubian Museum.

When you are finished at the museum, the motorboat will bring you back again, and then you will have some free time for yourself before dinner is served at the usual time. Enjoy your last sleep on the Oberoi Philae in the comfort of your luxury cabin on the river at Aswan.

DAY 7 – Oberoi Philae Disembarkation and Flight to Cairo

Enjoy one last breakfast on the river and then you will have to disembark, and our tour representative will then escort you to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. When you land in Cairo, your tour manager will once again be at the airport to meet and assist you, and to escort you to the hotel where you will be spending your last night in Egypt. No tours or excursions are scheduled for your last day in Egypt, so you are free to enjoy the day as you wish.

DAY 8 – Your Luxury Egypt Trip Ends and Final Departure

Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time, your tour manager will arrive with one of our drivers, and you will travel to Cairo International Airport for your flight out of Egypt. Your luxury travel adventure in Egypt is now over, so we will bid you farewell and wish you a very safe and pleasant onward journey.
