Itinerary 1: 4 DAY FROM ASWAN TO LUXOR
DAY 1 – Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise Embarkation and Aswan Tour
When you arrive at the airport or train station in Aswan, one of our tour representatives will be there to meet, and then escort you to the port area where you will be boarding the 5-Star Movenpick Royal Lily cruise ship. Shortly after you have boarded and been checked in, a good lunch will be served aboard the vessel, and then you will leave the ship for a very enjoyable tour to see three attractions in Aswan.
One of our Egyptologist tour guides, who will be aboard the ship throughout your cruise, will accompany you and a small group of our other clients on all tours so that you can enjoy a truly rich travel experience. Today, you will be taken to see the Aswan High Dam; the Unfinished Obelisk, and the remarkable ancient Temple of Philae.
After your tour, you will return to the ship and you will have some free time for yourself before dinner is served. The first night of your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise will be spent in your cabin on the water at Aswan.

DAY 2 – Sail to Edfu with Kom Ombo Temple Excursion
Today your cruise ship will depart from Aswan quite early, and you will enjoy breakfast and Lunch on the river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Later in the day, shortly after you have enjoyed afternoon Tea, our tour guide will then accompany you on a tour to see Kom Ombo Temple which is another remarkable ancient site.
Unlike the other ancient temples in Egypt, this particular one was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek and Haeroris. Sobek was a god in the form of a crocodile, while Haeroris was depicted as having a human body and the head of a falcon.
Following your tour, you will head back to the ship, and it will then set sail for Edfu. Dinner will be served at the usual time, and then you will have the rest of the evening to yourself. Enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep on the water at Edfu.

DAY 3 – Visit Horus Temple, Sail to Luxor, and East Bank Tour
Begin your day with a good breakfast on your cruise ship, and then you will be taken to see the Ancient World’s most well-reserved structure, the Temple of Horus. Its incredible degree of preservation is due to the fact that the temple became buried beneath a mountain of sand after being abandoned by the Romans. It then remained buried for roughly 2,000 years.
After Horus Temple, you will make your way back to the Royal Lily cruise ship, and it will set sail for Luxor. Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea aboard the ship, and then shortly after tea, our tour guide will accompany you on a tour to Luxor’s East Bank to see the Karnak Temple complex and also the very well-preserved Luxor Temple.
After returning to the ship, dinner will be served at the usual time and there will also be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dancing show in the evening. The last night of your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise will be spent on the water at Luxor.

DAY 4 – Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise Disembarkation; West Bank Tour, and Departure
Enjoy a last breakfast aboard the ship, and then it will be time for check-out and final disembarkation. Once you have disembarked, our guide will escort you on what might prove to be the most amazing tour of your cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Today you will be visiting two of the West Bank’s best attractions: Valley of the Kings, and the rock-cut mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Valley of the Kings is home to more than 60 tombs, all of which belonged to royalty and a few highly influential people. King Ramesses the 6th and King Tutankhamen were both laid to rest at this necropolis.

Itinerary 2: 5 DAY FROM LUXOR TO ASWAN
DAY 1 – Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise Embarkation and Luxor East Bank Tour
When arriving in Luxor for your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise, we will have one of our tour representatives waiting to meet and greet you at Luxor airport or railway station. After welcoming you to Luxor, he will then escort you to the port area where you will be boarding your 5-Star cruise ship. Shortly after embarkation, you will be served a good lunch aboard the vessel, and then you will be heading out for your first tour.
Today you will be visiting the East Bank to see two marvelous ancient sites. First, you will be taken to see the Karnak Temple complex which constructed over a period of more than 2,000 years, and then you will be taken to see Luxor Temple which is one of the best preserved ancient structures in Egypt.
After your tour, you will return to the cruise ship; you will have some free time for yourself, and then it will be time for dinner. The remainder of the evening will be yours to enjoy as you wish, and you will be spending the first night of your Nile cruise on the water at Luxor.

DAY 2 – Valley of Kings and Hatshepsut Temple Tour then Cruise to Edfu
Start the 2nd day of your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise with a good breakfast on the ship, and then you will enjoy a tour to the West Bank in Luxor to visit Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut’s rock-cut mortuary temple. These are two of the most visited ancient sites in the country so you can be sure that this will be a tour you will never forget.
There are usually a number of tombs which are open to the public, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen. However, his tomb is not always open, and even when it is, a special ticket needs to be purchased in person at the site.
Following your West Bank Tour, you will return to the ship with our tour guide, and then it will depart for Edfu. Lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner will be served at the usual times, and this night of your Movenpick Royal Lily will be spent on the water at Edfu.

DAY 3 – Cruise to Aswan with Horus Temple and Kom Ombo Temple Tours
Begin your day with a good breakfast on the water at Edfu, and then our tour guide will escort you on a visit to Horus Temple, the best reserved monument from the Ancient World. After your tour, you will return to the Royal Lily cruise ship, and it will then sail to Kom Ombo, with a good lunch and afternoon tea being served along the way.
On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will be taken for another tour, this time to the ancient Temple of Kom Ombo.
When you visit this temple, you will notice that it essentially consists of two identical structures in one. The reason for this being that it was built for, and dedicated to two different gods. The one side was dedicated to Haeroris the falcon-headed god, while the other side was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god.
Enjoy your tour, and then you will head back to your cruise ship, and it will begin sailing to Aswan. Dinner will be served at the usual time, and this night of your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise will be spent on the water in Aswan.

DAY 4 – Aswan Tour and Free Time
Enjoy another good breakfast aboard the ship, and then our tour guide will accompany you on another onshore excursion, this time to see three fascinating attractions in Aswan: the Aswan High Dam; the ancient Temple of Philae, and the ancient Unfinished Obelisk. The Unfinished Obelisk is huge, but it was never completed due to the fact that a serious crack appeared which resulted in the project being cancelled.
After your tour, you will return to the cruise ship in time for lunch, and you will then have the remainder of the day to yourself to enjoy as you wish. Afternoon tea and dinner will once again be served at the usual times, and you will be spending the last night of your Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise on the water at Aswan.

DAY 5 – Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise Disembarkation and Departure
