DAY 1 – Board the Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise and Aswan Tour

On arrival at the airport or railway station in Aswan, one of our tour representatives will meet you and welcome you, and then he will take you to Aswan port for your Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise After you have boarded this beautiful 5-Star cruise ship, you will a bit of time to drop your belongings off in your cabin, and then it will be time for you to enjoy your first lunch on the water.

Shortly after lunch, one of our own tour guides will escort you and a small group of our other clients on a tour to see three fascinating attractions in Aswan. Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam; the splendid ancient Temple of Philae, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk.
After your tour, you will head back to the cruise ship, and you will spend this night of you cruise on the Nile at Aswan.

DAY 2 – Sail to Kom Ombo Temple and on to Edfu

Enjoy a good breakfast on the river while the Royal Lotus is sailing to Kom Ombo, and then have the remainder of the morning for yourself to enjoy as you wish. Lunch and afternoon tea will be served aboard the Royal Lotus, and shortly after you have enjoyed your afternoon tea, our tour guide will then escort you on a tour to Kom Ombo Temple.

Kom Ombo Temple is one of the most intriguing ancient temples in Egypt because it is essentially two temples in one. One of these was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and one was dedicated to Haeroris. Because of this, both sections had to be completely identical so as not to offend either of the two gods.

Following your tour of this site, you will return to your cruise ship, and it will then cruise to Edfu where you will be spending this night of your Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise on the water.

DAY 3 – Horus Temple Tour and Sail to Luxor via Esna

Enjoy your breakfast on the water at Edfu, and then you will again be leaving the ship with our tour guide and the other members of your group for a visit to Horus Temple. This temple was built between 237 and 57 BC, and it is today the best-preserved ancient monument in Egypt, having been buried under the desert sand for more than 2,000.

After spending some time at Horus Temple, you will make your way back to the Royal Lotus, and it will then set cruise to Luxor, sailing via Esna. Lunch will be served at the usual time, and then you will have some free time for yourself until Afternoon tea is served, after which you will disembark with our tour guide for a tour to Luxor’s East Bank.

During your East Bank tour, you will visit the incredible Karnak Temple complex. This is a vast archeological site covering an area of around 5,000 square meters. From there, you will be taken to see Luxor Temple , and then you will once again return to the boat, and dinner will again be served at the usual time. There will also be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dance show aboard the ship in the evening, and you will be spending the last night of your Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise on the Nile at Luxor.

DAY 4 – Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise Disembarkation, West Bank Tour, and Departure

After breakfast today, you will check out and disembark from your cruise, and then our guide will escort you on a tour of the West Bank. First you will visit an ancient royal necropolis know as the Valley of the Kings. Both Ramesses the 6th and King Tutankhamen were entombed at this site. After spending some time at the necropolis, you will then be taken to see another incredibly ancient monument, the rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

After this visit, your Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise package ends, and you will be driven to the airport or to the railway station for your departure.
