4 Day Deluxe Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

DAY 1 – Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise Embarkation and Aswan Tour

When you arrive in Aswan for your 4-day deluxe Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the airport or train station, and he will then escort you to board this beautifully appointed 5-Star cruise ship. You will have a little bit of time to drop off your belonging in your cabin, and then it will be time for lunch.

Once you have finished eating, you will team up with a small group of our other clients, and our Egyptologist tour guide will escort you on a sightseeing tour to see 3 of Aswan’s most popular tourist attractions: The Aswan High Dam; the Granite Quarries, and the indescribable ancient Temple of Philae. When the tour ends, you will head back to the cruise ship, and you will be served afternoon tea. You will then have free time for yourself until dinner time. In the evening there will be an entertaining Nubian Folkloric Show aboard the ship, and you will spend the first night of your cruise one the water at Aswan.

DAY 2 – Kom Ombo Temple; Edfu Temple, and Overnight at Esna

The Steigenberger Minerva Nile cruise ship will depart early from Aswan, and you will have your breakfast while you are sailing to Kom Ombo where you will be visiting the famous Kom Ombo Temple. This is one of Egypt’s most unique ancient temples since it was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek the crocodile god, and Haeroris the falcon-headed god.

After your tour, you will return to your ship, and you will enjoy lunch while sailing to Edfu where you will once again leave the ship in the company of our tour guide who will take you to see the fantastically well-preserved Temple of Horus.

Following this tour, you will board the ship again, and you will enjoy afternoon tea while you are sailing to Esna where you will be spending this night of your Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise. In the evening there will also be very entertaining Egyptian Galabeye Party aboard the vessel.

DAY 3 – Sail to Luxor with West Bank and East Bank Tours

Today, there are plenty of things to see, so your Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise will leave Esna very early, and you will have breakfast while sailing to Luxor. When you reach Luxor, our tour guide will then escort you and the other member in your group on a tour to Luxor’s West bank. During this tour, you will be visiting three of the very best tourist ancient attractions in the area.

First, you will visit Valley of the Kings, a royal necropolis where both Ramesses VI and King Tutankhamen were laid to rest, and from there you will head to the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a huge rock-cut complex that was constructed y the same craftsmen who built and decorated the toms at Valley of the Kings. Finally, you will enjoy a short visit to the Colossi of Memnon, and then return to the ship for lunch.

Shortly after lunch, you will leave the ship once again, and then our guide will take you to see two more ancient attraction located on the East Bank. First you will visit the huge Karnak Temple complex, and then you will visit Luxor Temple which is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. After visiting this site, you will return to the ship again, and you will have some free time left before dinner is served. Tonight, you will be spending the last night of your Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise on the water at Luxor.

DAY 4 – Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise Disembarkation and Departure

Enjoy your breakfast aboard the ship, and then it will be time for check-out and final disembarkation. After you have disembarked, our tour representative will escort you to Luxor Airport or to the railway station, depending on what your immediate travel plans are.

Your Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise package will now have come to an end, so will bid you farewell, and wish you a safe and pleasant onward journey.
