DAY 1 – Arrive in Cairo for your Egypt Nile Tour Vacation

When you flight lands in Cairo, the vibrant Egyptian capital, your tour manager will meet you at the airport, and once formalities have been taken care of, he or she will escort you to the very nice hotel where you will be staying during your time in this vibrant city. On arrival at the hotel, you will be assisted with check-in, and then your tour manager will confirm a pick-up time for tomorrow’s sightseeing tour. After this, you will have the rest of the day to yourself to enjoy as you wish.

DAY 2 – Full Day Tour in Cairo

After you have had your breakfast today, you will enjoy an unforgettable private tour in Cairo with one of our Egyptologist tour guides. Most of the morning will be spent at the Giza Plateau which is home the Egypt’s famous ancient Giza Pyramids; the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. After this leg of your tour, you will be taken for lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you will visit the Egyptian Museum.

The Egyptian Museum houses the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including all the artifacts that were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamen. When you are finished at the museum, you will then be taken to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and from there you will head to Islamic Cairo to enjoy a stroll around the incredibly lively Khan el Khalili Bazaar which has been open ever since the 14th century.

Once you have seen enough of the bazaar, we will then drive you back to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 3 – Flight to Luxor for Egypt Nile Tour Embarkation

Check-out from your hotel after breakfast this morning, and then we will drive you to the airport where you will then board a flight for your trip to Luxor. On arrival at Luxor Airport, one of our tour representatives will meet you and then accompany you to the port area where you will board your 5-Star cruise ship that will be taking you for one of the most magical journeys ever.

Enjoy lunch aboard the cruise ship and a nice leisurely cruise along the Nile to Esna. Afternoon tea will be served at the appropriate time, and there will also be a small Captain’s Welcome cocktail reception in the evening shortly before dinner. Enjoy this night of your Egypt Nile Tour on the river at Esna.

DAY 4 – Horus Temple and Overnight at Kom Ombo

Enjoy a nice leisurely breakfast on the river while your cruise ship is sailing to Edfu. When you reach Edfu, your tour guide will then take you to see the remarkable Temple of Horus. What makes this temple particularly impressive is the fact that it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian cult temple ever discovered in Egypt.

After your visit to the temple, you will return to the ship, and it will cruise Kom Ombo. There are no further sightseeing trips scheduled for this day of your Egypt Nile Tour package, so you can enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner will be served at the usual times. There will also be a very entertaining Galabya Party aboard the vessel and you will spend this night of your trip on the river at Kom Ombo.

DAY 5 – Sail to Aswan and Aswan Tour

Today you will be leaving Kom Ombo quite early, and you will be sailing along the Nile to Aswan. On arrival at Aswan, you will enjoy another very memorable tour, this time to see the Aswan High Dam; the magnificent ancient Temple of Philae, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk which is located in the area’s ancient granite quarries.

Following your Aswan sightseeing trip, you will return to the the cruise ship for lunch, and then you will be taken to see the Botanical Gardens aboard a traditional Felucca boat. After sailing around this island in the Nile, you will once again return to the ship in time for some afternoon tea. Enjoy some free time for yourself, and then sit down to another good dinner on the Nile in the evening.

Shortly after dinner, there will be a traditional Egyptian Belly Dance Show and also a Egyptian Folkloric Show, and you will spend this night of your Egypt Nile Tour on the river at Aswan.

DAY 6 – Free Day with Optional Abu Simbel Tour

Today you will have the choice of spending your day on the cruise ship in Aswan, or going for an optional trip to Abu Simbel to see two ancient rock-cut temples. This ttrip is not included in the price of your Egypt Nile Tour package, and it will involve a 3-hour drive in both directions. Given that the Abu Simbel Temples are Egypt’s second-most recognizable ancient site, we highly recommend this tour.

DAY 7 – Sail Back to Kom Ombo; Edfu, and on to Esna

Enjoy your breakfast on the river Nile while sailing to Kom Ombo where the ship will dock while you enjoy a tour to Kom Ombo Temple. This remarkable temple was dedicated to two different Egyptian gods at the same time, so there is essentially two of everything, including two halls; two sanctuaries, and etc.

Following your tour, you will return to the ship, and it will cruise to Esna via Edfu. Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner will all be served at the usual times, and you will spend this night of your Egypt Nile Tour on the river at Esna

DAY 8 – Sail to Luxor and Luxor West Bank Tour

Have breakfast on the river while you cruise to Luxor, and then once the ship ties up, your tour guide will accompany you on a tour to the West Bank where you will visit Valley of the Kings which is home to the tombs of Ramesses VI and King Tutankhamen, along with 60 other tombs. From here you will be taken to see the huge mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which is also one of the most visited ancient Egyptian attractions in the country.

Finally, as you make your way back to the cruise ship, you will enjoy a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, and you will be back aboard the ship in time for your lunch. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy as you wish, and you will spend this night of your Egypt Nile Tour on the river at Luxor.

DAY 9 – Cruise Disembarkation; East Bank Tour, and Fly to Cairo

After breakfast, it will be time for final disembarkation from your cruise, after which you will enjoy one more tour, this time to the East Bank of the Nile to see the sprawling Karnak Temple complex and the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple.

After your tour, you will be taken for lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you will be driven to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. When your plane lands, your tour manager will once again meet you, and escort you to the hotel where you will be spending the last night of your stay in Egypt.

DAY 10 – Egypt Nile Tour Ends and Final Departure

Enjoy your breakfast, and then at the appropriate time, your tour manager will meet you at the hotel, and then accompany you to Cairo International Airport in time for your flight out of Egypt.
